Weddings at The old milking parlour
Set amongst the beautiful countryside on the Somerset/Dorset border, is the wonderful Old Milking Parlour.
The owners of the venue, Lou and Colin, are amazing. I love that they take your day as seriously as you do, and make sure that everything runs smoothly, professionally and to time, so you can simply relax and enjoy your wedding day as stress-free as possible.
The venue has lots of rustic charm and it really allows you to put those finishing touches to decorate the venue to your style and personalise your wedding day.
After the ceremony, I tend to capture those natural moments with your guests, that tell the story of your day, before taking the bride and groom for their romantic couple shots around the gardens and, weather permitting, the woodland. Where else is there a magical door in the middle of your own private woodland?
For those wanting formal group shots with their guests, there is the beautiful backdrop of the house, woodland or even the orchard.
