Weddings at Bourne hill registry office, salisbury
Set in the city centre of Salisbury, is the beautiful Bourne Hill registry office. I have captured so many weddings here over the past 15 years and always love coming back.
Most of the weddings I have photographed at Bourne Hill have been small, intimate weddings. Quite often couples are going for a meal or smaller reception after the ceremony, somewhere within walking distance in the city, or a short drive somewhere picturesque.
After the ceremony I tend to take the couple for a few photos together around the front of the building, and to the beautiful side garden for romantic couple shots. Confetti is usually thrown in the beautiful green area or in front of the small stone arched building, and for those wanting to capture some more formal group shots, we can either use the impressive front of the building, or the gardens for couples wishing to be more discrete.
As you can see, there are two very different, but equally beautiful options for your ceremony room. The library gives a cosy and colourful feel, with great views of the gardens to steady any nerves! The Wyndham room has grand pillars and a stunning mirror, giving a more classic feel, but the blinds are closed before the brides arrival, so you don't catch an accidental glimpse!
